Privacy Policy
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number, and the location details you provide: state, local government area, ward and polling unit. If you request verification, we also collect the identity document you upload.
Why we collect it
Location details place you in the right organising groups. Contact details let your coordinator reach you. Identity documents exist only to confirm that each membership belongs to one real person.
Who can see your data
Other members in a group see your display name and messages you post there. Identity documents are stored in private storage and are visible only to reviewers handling verification. Nothing you upload is public.
What we never do
We do not sell member data, we do not share it with political advertisers, and we do not publish your phone number or documents.
Your control
You can update your profile at any time, withdraw a verification request, or ask for your account and documents to be deleted by contacting the secretariat.
Security
Access to member records is protected by row-level security rules, so each account can only read the data it is entitled to. Files are stored in private buckets that require signed access.
